This is a very economic survey option. The cost varies according to the purchase price of the property with fees starting as low as £450 inclusive (VAT is not payable)
These are significantly more costly than the Homebuyer Survey, because the reports are more detailed. The reports are individually priced, according the complexity of the survey and the age, size and construction of the building. Prices start at around £1,000 inclusive (VAT is not payable). Some properties are unsuitable for a Home Buyer Survey, including Listed Buildings and some other pre 1900 properties.
Market Valuations, ‘Help To Buy’ and Shared Ownership valuations and Insurance Reinstatement Valuations are undertaken. Fees start from around £200 inclusive (VAT is not payable). Please ask for a quotation for a valuation that meets your particular requirements. (Please note that a valuation is not recommended as a substitute for a Home Buyer Survey or a Building Survey when purchasing a property).
